Rocky Mountain North Canoe Brigade
June 24-28, 2017
Canadians will have the chance to actively participate in a four-day, 120 km paddling voyage beginning at the Kootenay Plains in the Canadian Rockies and ending at Rocky Mountain House.
Note – This event is open to large voyageur style canoes, minimum 22′ length. Some Class I and II rapids, occasional Class III. Many split channels will be encountered, but overall, the course is relatively easy. Course will be patrolled.

June 25:
Assemble at Kootenay Plains Campground; introductions, camp, hike Siffleur Falls, barbecue.
June 26:
Canoe from Saskatchewan Crossing to Cline River; 42 km.
June 27:
Bighorn Dam and Crescent Falls. Canoe Bighorn River to Saunders Landing; 43 km.
June 28:
Canoe Saunders to Rocky Mountain House National Historical Site; 72 km; Camp, Reception, Voyageurs Rendezvous 2017, Barbecue.
